Shakespeare Colony [A month later]

They'd waited for the weather to turn more reliably warm and dry before hosting an outdoor dance in the center of the village. The fight over music had been mostly smoothed over by agreeing to vary the selections between what the colonists who'd arrived recently liked and what the natives had become used to after Ben had offered to provide enough droid spoken word albums to last the entire dance to break the impasse.

Because everyone had agreed that droid spoken word albums were the worst.

And now, in the fine tradition of dances everywhere, no one was dancing in the area cleared for that purpose as everyone gathered in nervous groupings around food and drink tables, staring at people across the floor and hoping someone would ask them to dance.

Ben sighed and tugged at the tie around his neck. "Should we draw names from a hat or something?" he asked Ender.

"Stop?" Ender asked, even if a good chunk of him would rather Ben didn't.

"Of course," Ben said, dropping a kiss on Ender's back and moving his hand.

Ender turned over, tangled his fingers in Ben's hair, and kissed him desperately.

Ben moaned quietly and wrapped his arms around Ender's neck. "You liked that."

"Mhm," Ender agreed.

He might have more to say about it later, when he wasn't wrapping a leg around Ben's waist and pressing up against him.

"Stang," Ben groaned.

Ender slid his hand down to help both of them along. As much as he could do so in a coordinated fashion, considering the way he was trying to re-map Ben's mouth.

Ben whimpered in earnest and rocked his hips hard against Ender, scratching his nails down Ender's back.

"God, yes," Ender breathed as he came up for air, and pressed his own hips up in response.

"More," Ben moaned, biting down on Ender's shoulder.

Ender dug his nails into Ben's scars at that - he did have some idea what constituted more for him.

Ben cried out and rocked harder into Ender, sliding his hands down to squeeze his ass.

"Kuso," Ender whimpered, and lost it instantly.

Ben was right behind him, crying out into Ender's neck.

"Guh," Ender mumbled, staring up at the ceiling.

Ben let out a breathless laugh. "Wow."

Ender blew out a breath. "Mhmm," he agreed.

Ben pressed a kiss to Ender's forehead. "Kuso."

Ender reached across him - a little fumbly - and dropped the box of tissues on Ben's chest. "Nice," he muttered, kissing Ben's neck.

"Glad we don't have to go anywhere," Ben mumbled. "Think my legs don't work."

"Mine definitely don't," Ender sighed. "Clean up?"

"Yeah," Ben said, closing his eyes. "One sec."

"Mhmm, one sec," Ender said, idly running the back of his index finger over Ben's jawline.

"You still feel so good," Ben whispered. "Not in the uncomfortable 'so I'm compelled to jump you' Fandom way...just in a nice way."

Ben's brain wasn't exactly firing correctly yet.

Ender leaned in and kissed Ben's jaw, because formulating words was hard. "Thanks," he said. "You're not bad either."
