Hijra [A few weeks later]

Ben was catching up on emails from home--news about the Sith, the latest gossip from Jag and Jaina's corner of the galaxy and whatever Allana had gotten herself up to while being unsupervised (there was a lot of "it'd seemed like a good idea!!!" in her correspondence)--and then poking around scientific journals about advancements in reproductive technology.

You know. For no real reason. Cough.

He drank tea and really missed having those yummy red fruits around. He'd need to ask when they came back the next time he went to the market.

"Nope," Ender retorted, nipping at Ben's bottom lip while his hand accidentally swerved a little further up.

"Yes," Ben murmured, meaning something entirely different this time.

Ender straddled him in response. "Mmkay."

Ben let out a low moan and smiled up at him. "Hi there."

Ender smiled back. "Hi," he said, leaning in to press a kiss against Ben's neck. "I was going to go to sleep," he murmured, "But you just had to be a brat..."

Not that he liked that or anything.

"Oh, if you were tired, we can wait until tomorrow," Ben teased, stroking the back of Ender's neck and tilting his head so Ender could kiss him some more.

"Too late now," Ender sighed, nipping down on the skin in response and sucking on the small mark he'd left.

Not too hard, though.

Ben went all goosebumpy. "Nnnnngh," he sighed, sliding his fingers along Ender's spine.

"Hi," Ender murmured, kissing his way down Ben's neck.

"I love you so much," Ben murmured in reply, hugging Ender against him.

Ender chuckled softly, sticking to where he was for a minute because Ben made it hard to be elsewhere.

That poor patch of Ben's chest - and nipple - would just have to deal with his undivided attention.

Ben moaned softly and for once just let Ender take care of him without trying to come up with a way to reciprocate.

Ender grazed his teeth over that nipple before he finally moved on, shifting back a little so he could cover more ground. His mouth found a scar and sucked on it.

Ben whimpered and arched his hips up into Ender. "Kuso."

Ender chuckled, reaching for Ben's hips and pressing them firmly against the bed.

He moved lower, running his tongue over the dinosaur scar, across Ben's stomach.

Ben shivered happily. "So many scars," he babbled. "I look like a quilt."

"You look like you," Ender said, as he kissed his way along the scar. "All the bad experiences... and the good..."

"More good ones than bad these days," Ben whispered. "Thanks to you."

Ender paused briefly. He dropped his chin on Ben's belly and looked up with a soft smile. "That was the plan all along," he murmured.

"Well planned and executed, admiral," Ben replied, smiling back.

"Thank you, Jedi," Ender said, his smile broadening.

He tugged open Ben's fly, then peeked down. "Not good enough," he decided, pulling away a bit so he could remove Ben's pants.

This didn't seem like a time for anything less.

Ben let out a soft hiss and bit his lower lip. "Guh, kreetle."

Ender moved forward to kiss him again, pressing Ben gently into the mattress using his whole weight.

Ben didn't know when being pinned that way had stopped being claustrophobic and started being comforting, but he was glad that it had. He wrapped his legs around Ender's waist, pulling him closer.

Ender was suddenly overtly aware of his own pants, but he ignored that awareness. He didn't want to think about that just yet - not when Ben was this close and he felt this many kinds of good that had little to do with that part of him at all.

What he wanted to do was kiss Ben. A great deal, and slowly. So he did.
