Ben was catching up on emails from home--news about the Sith, the latest gossip from Jag and Jaina's corner of the galaxy and whatever Allana had gotten herself up to while being unsupervised (there was a lot of "it'd seemed like a good idea!!!" in her correspondence)--and then poking around scientific journals about advancements in reproductive technology.

You know. For no real reason. Cough.

He drank tea and really missed having those yummy red fruits around. He'd need to ask when they came back the next time he went to the market.

Ben leaned down and slowly kissed the hollow of Ender's throat.

Ender tilted his head back and let go of a sigh he'd been holding in. "Wouldn't have asked anyone but you to come with me," he said quietly. "There's a reason for that."

"Because you would've airlocked Topher in a week?" Ben teased, scraping his teeth against Ender's collarbone.

"That would be it," Ender said. His hand slid up to cup the back of Ben's head and he groaned softly.

"And you love me best," Ben murmured, kissing Ender's chest.

"I do," Ender murmured, glancing down and smiling at him.

Ben smiled back, looking slightly tousled. "I'm so glad."

Ender leaned over and kissed him. "I love you," he said, "As well I know how, you worrywart."

Ben kissed him back, rocking his hips slightly against him.

Ender let out a gasp. Now it was his turn to wrap his legs around Ben's hips. "Kuso."

"I love you too," Ben whispered in his ear.

"I know," Ender murmured, turning his head to catch Ben's mouth on his.

"I don't touch anyone else like this," Ben said, sliding his hand along Ender's chest, then down, "and I don't plan to for as long as we're both alive."

And here Ender had planned to respond to that, but the motion of Ben's hand had made that suddenly impossible. He moaned, his eyes flicking down to Ben's hand, then to his face.

Ben smiled. "Yes, I'm a brat," he whispered.

Ender shivered a little in spite of himself. "One that's too attractive for his own good," he mumbled.

Ben kissed him soundly. "I'm glad you think so."

"Mm, yes," Ender sighed, rocking his hips up against Ben's.

Ben moaned softly. "Kuso, you feel good," he whispered, still keeping his movements slow. Tonight didn't feel like something to be rushed.

"Feeling's mutual," Ender sighed, tracing a path down Ben's arm with his fingertips. He kept moving his hips, very slowly, into Ben's hand.

Ben tilted his head to suck on the lobe of Ender's ear, then traced it with his tongue. His thumb slid over Ender's tip, exploring.

Ender released a soft moan and cupped Ben's behind with his own hands, giving it a squeeze.

"Talk to me," Ben whispered. "What do you need?"

"I need this," Ender said, his mouth curving into a wry smile. "You-- as close to me as possible. Everything else doesn't matter to me so much right now."

He leaned up and kissed Ben again.

Ben smiled into the kiss. "That I can do," he murmured, sucking on Ender's lower lip. "For hours, really."
