Ben was catching up on emails from home--news about the Sith, the latest gossip from Jag and Jaina's corner of the galaxy and whatever Allana had gotten herself up to while being unsupervised (there was a lot of "it'd seemed like a good idea!!!" in her correspondence)--and then poking around scientific journals about advancements in reproductive technology.

You know. For no real reason. Cough.

He drank tea and really missed having those yummy red fruits around. He'd need to ask when they came back the next time he went to the market.

Ben kissed him back just as fervently, but kept his pace at the same steady rate, testing the limits of his endurance.

Ender groaned as he came up for air. "Ben--" he mumbled. He found his breath again. "You can let go-- if you wanna--"

He liked this-- a lot-- but seeing Ben strain like that...

Ben bit down on Ender's shoulder. "But then I'm getting you," he promised breathlessly.

"You always-- do," Ender panted, his hands sliding up and down Ben's back in unconscious imitation of his rhythm.

Ben shifted so that one hand could reach in between them to help Ender out a bit. "'m nice like that."

Ender reached down and grabbed his wrist. "Not... now."

Ben sucked on his neck. "Multitasking?"

"Mm, no," Ender sighed, shutting his eyes. "That part's just not as important right now..."

Ben kissed him again. "If you're sure--"

Ender sucked on Ben's bottom lip in reply. "Just want to-- pay attention to you right now," he sighed.

"Not going to say no," Ben murmured, rocking harder into him.

Ender breathed a soft curse and clung onto him. "'s better."

"'s what I'm going for," Ben moaned into Ender's skin. "Kuso."

He dropped his emotional barriers and just let himself feel--even knowing that would knock him over the edge almost immediately.

They were being as emotional bare as they knew how to be; he felt it was cheating to be anything less than open right now.

"Look at you," Ender murmured softly, skimming his fingers over all the scars on Ben's back.

Here, he was part of something. Right now that meant more than anything.

Ben let out a low sigh: it was a strange juxtaposition, feeling this spun up and this safe at the same.

But there was no one else in any multiverse he would be this vulnerable in front of, so he just rode the emotions without trying to over-analyze them for once. "Ender--"

"Ben," Ender murmured back, as warmly as he could, his voice shaking a little.

The constant stimulation wasn't overwhelming, but it was starting to get to him. The rhythm and the heat and Ben's face had his brain spinning.

Ben whimpered and rocked harder, tempo turning erratic as he pushed for release.

"Close--keeping talking," he managed.

"I love it when you let go like this," Ender whispered in his ear. "For just one minute-- you realize you're allowed. 's all-- over your face..."

Ben made a deeply needy whine that he'd be ashamed of if he cared at all about anything right now. He squeezed his eyes closed and let go, shuddering hard against Ender.

"Kuso, that's it," Ender whispered, holding on to him. "You're beautiful."

Ben shivered and held on tightly as his nerves tried to come back down to normal levels. Words were beyond him at the moment, but he was happy to listen to Ender's.

Ender said nothing else, though; he merely released a shaking breath and pressed kisses against Ben's neck.

He was a little wound up, but he didn't care, not with Ben lax and done like this.

Ben snuggled in against Ender with a sated sigh, sliding his hand along Ender's chest. "Thank you."

"What are you thanking me for?" Ender asked him fondly.

"For asking me along on this ride," Ben murmured, smiling up at him as his hand drifted lower.
