Ben & Ender's bedroom, Shakespeare [Monday evening]

It was old habit that led Ben to sit on asking Ender "what the hell was that?" about their meeting with Cade, their frankly terrifying and surly grandson, what the hell what the hell what the hell, until they were tucked into bed together.

"Soo..." he began. "What the hell was that?"

"Not a bad thing," Ben replied, kissing him softly.

Ender kissed him back with more heat. "Definitely."

Ben let out a small, contented sigh but kept his hand moving at the same steady tempo. "I love you so much."

"I know," Ender said, running his thumb soothingly along Ben's cheek, keeping his eyes locked on Ben's.

"Ohh," Ben said softly as he maintained eye contact. This was feeling very, very intimate.

Ben needed that from time to time; Ender figured tonight was one of those times.

He didn't kiss Ben again, but let his lips part as he gasped softly.

Ben reached his free hand out to trace Ender's mouth. "You are so--you take my breath away," he babbled.

"Thanks," Ender said, said mouth curving at the edges. "You're not-- so bad yourself."

"Well, I work out," Ben babbled.

Ender released a little hitched chuckle. "Wasn't... just talking about your really-- really-- nice abs."

Ben smiled at him, not wanting to break eye contact by kissing him. "Love you," he murmured, "and not because of what you're doing right now."

"Well, I love... every part of you," Ender said, starting to pant, "not just the part I'm doing something to right now."

Ben whimpered and squeezed his hand around Ender. "More--"

Ender groaned, then bit down on his lip.

He sped up his hand.

Ben moaned softly, locking his eyes on Ender's in a clear battle of wills. He didn't want to lose it first tonight. His thumb slipped over Ender's tip (because he was not above cheating to get his way, either).

Ender gasped and shivered unexpectedly, but he refused to look away.

He gave Ben a little squeeze this time, and moved his other hand down to touch along his scars.

Ben's mouth opened slightly as he panted for breath. He sped his hand up a bit and moved his other one to slide deliberately along the scar on the back of Ender's neck.

Ender whimpered until he bit down on his lower lip again, a little harder than he'd anticipated.

He dug his nails - not roughly, but also not entirely gently - into the scar he'd been touching.

Ben hissed in a breath. "Ender--" he whimpered, arching his back a bit and finding his focus suddenly drawn to watching Ender biting his lower lip. He slid his finger along Ender's scar again and gave him a light squeeze with his other hand.

Ender made a guttural little noise and briefly had visible trouble keeping eye contact, though in the end he didn't look away. "Brat," he whispered, scraping those nails down.

Ben shivered hard. "You love it."

Ender swallowed, but that didn't put an end to his panting. He did a little thing with his hand, trying to get back some of the ground he was losing here.

Ben moaned again and then repeated what Ender had done for him.

Because Ben was mean sometimes.

That was really, really mean.

Ender shut his eyes involuntarily and groaned. Not as softly as he would've liked.

Ben smiled softly and repeated the motion.

Mean, mean, mean.
