Sorelledolce [let's call it Sunday]

Ben was starting to feel at home on Sorelledolce: he had a routine for getting produce for the week at the same store, where the older man behind the counter insisted on spoiling the baby with strawberries, plums or apples, depending on what he had available when they arrived. He'd then get bread at another shop (and a roll for Val to gnaw on), and then a coffee for himself (and an espresso cup full of whipped cream that Val smeared all over her face, to her great delight) before heading back to the ship.

He kept up his normal one-sided conversation with his daughter as they walked. "That's a puppy, Val," Ben explained. "And that's a chicken! And that's a lady who's glaring at us for no real reason but we're going to walk faster anyway..."

Just another Sunday morning. Ben kind of loved his quiet little life.

Ben whimpered. "But not sleepy right now?" he checked, rocking his hips deliberately.

Ender laughed breathlessly. "'m not gonna fall asleep with you in me."

"Pretty sure that's tacky," Ben agreed, kissing him again.

"Painful, too," Ender sighed into the kiss.

"We're not going for painful," Ben whispered. "Just...worn out."

Ender smiled. "Let's just let go," he whispered, "have a bath, fall asleep with each other..."

Ben kissed him again. "Astral plan," he said, rocking his hips.

Ender groaned, arching his back again, and pumped his hips back against Ben's.

Ben moaned softly. "There you go..."

"C'mon," Ender panted, "Lil' more."

Ben reached down and put his hand over Ender's to help him along. "There?"

He got off from watching Ender come apart tonight.

Ender hissed a, "Yessss," and fell silent, rocking his hips up into Ben's hand and then against his hips over and over again.

Ben's breathing started coming out in little gasps. "Close--"

Ender moaned loudly. "C'mon," he said, urging Ben's hand to move faster with his own.

Ben let out a low whine into Ender's neck as he let go.

Ender whimpered, following not too far behind. It wasn't loud, or showy, or anything like it; if anything, it was just relief.

Ben closed his eyes as he slowly came back to himself, feeling completely sated.

Ender let out a soft sigh, shifting his hips away from Ben, but otherwise not going far.

Ben enjoyed the quiet, concentrating on his breathing but not feeling the need to break the silence.

Ender pressed his face against Ben's neck and stayed there happily, curling into him.

Ben reached out and stroked Ender's hair, keeping him close.

That made Ender smile, and he slid his hand up Ben's back until it rested comfortably between his shoulderblades.

"Love you," Ben whispered. "In case the last few hours weren't a clue."

"I love you too," Ender said, smiling a little more, "Likewise."

Ben kissed him softly, needing the closeness.
