Attention world: Ben Skywalker finally got his hair cut!

Newly shorn (not quite military short, but close) thanks to the people at the spa (where he rather vehemently turned down a massage, an eyebrow sculpting and a pedicure. The staff had discovered quickly how easy it was to make him blush), he was now back in his room tinkering with a couple of projects that he was thinking of turning into holiday gifts.

The door was wide open.

"There was a package?" She was also wondering when this was, but she'd get to that.

"Since he was getting so old, I sent him fiber drinks and stuff," Ben said, looking very pleased with himself.

"Nice," Jaina said with a little smile. "So you've talked to him recently?" This would be her testing to see whether or not she needed to add a little 'It's not just John anymore' disclaimer.

Ben nodded, looking wary. "I'm still allowed to be friends with him, right? Even with...stuff?"

[solo_sword]

"The wife," she nodded, though she couldn't not make a bit of a face. "I don't get to tell you who to be friends with and who not to, and I was the one suggesting you go there. Just don't like her better than me." Though Jaina didn't think that possible.

Ben scoffed. "I'm not going to like her better. She didn't think the wig was as astral as it totally was."

[solo_sword]

"I... know better than to ask for clarification," she said.

"I sent a giant white wig and he sent a photo back. Whatsherface didn't look happy," Ben said.

Jaina actually almost smiled. "I'm glad." Hey, she thought she was being incredibly mature about this whole situation, she was allowed the little things.

"But John likes her, so she must have something going for her," Ben said. "Right?"

Jaina was probably not the right person to ask about that, Ben.

Definitely not the right person for that. She had her limits, and thinking of why John might like Nancy was beyond it. "I should go," Jaina said instead, standing. "Still got things to do."

"What kind of things?" Ben asked. Cluelessly.

[solo_sword]

"Anything other than talk about the good qualities of my new ex's new wife," she replied before she could stop herself. "I'll see you later."
