Ben and Ender were still hosting houseguests, and since the speeder hadn't been destroyed the day before, it meant it was time for Cultural Opportunities In Town!

...or Twi'leks dancing around poles.

There was plenty to see in Theed before then, of course, as it would be kind of tacky to watching dancing girls at lunch. Or so Ben assumed.

"Oh, you will," Ender said, and shot him a wry smile. "It's called 'going back to the house and having a nice, long nap'. Though you're not invited for the latter half, I'm afraid."

Ender released a long breath. "We'd kind of gotten used to being home alone," he admitted, "And Ben having Jedi senses..."

"Oh." Look, he was just bad at the whole dating thing. "I'm not really sure if I'm doing things right with her."

Said the guy with a spreadsheet in his head for making out.

"The last date we went on involved her being scratched by a guy dressed up like a cat."

Ender, who had never had that kind of approval before or felt the need to ask for it, smiled anyway. "I suppose we do," he said, "In our twisted fashion."
