Ben and Ender were still hosting houseguests, and since the speeder hadn't been destroyed the day before, it meant it was time for Cultural Opportunities In Town!

...or Twi'leks dancing around poles.

Po-tay-to, Po-tah-to.

There was plenty to see in Theed before then, of course, as it would be kind of tacky to watching dancing girls at lunch. Or so Ben assumed.

"As soon as the boys are gone, I am going up to the tallest hill nearby and throwing it off."

He would, too.

Ben laughed harder. "Can I watch?"

Ender shot him a dry look. "If you insist."

"I do," Ben said, smiling.

"Fine," Ender said, but then nodded at the shop coming up ahead. "But first, your choice of flora for your grandmother."

Ben nodded. "Roses are a little done," he said. "Maybe something that smells nice but isn't a rose."

Ben was quite the flower expert. Really.

Ender wasn't exactly an aficionado, either. "They've got a display," he said, smiling a little, and gave Ben a nudge. "Go smell the flowers."
