Shuttle landing zone, Hijra [Six months in stasis, twelve years Earth time gone, Tuesday in Fandom]

After saying their final goodbyes to Ender's parents before getting to Ganges, there wasn't really much point to staying awake between stops, and so all three of them went into stasis for the duration of the flight between Ganges and Hijra, a planet they'd picked for its relative obscurity, warm, dry climate, and sand (but not too much sand, Ben had been sure to check. He hadn't come all this way to end up on another Tatooine. There was obscure and there was "furthest star from anything.") Besides, after their trip back to Kaeleer, Ben hadn't exactly been anxious to be alone with his thoughts for much time.

He'd memorized what little information had changed about their new home planet: very quiet, minimal interference from Earth's government (which was now a few generations past Peter's time, and that was a little hard to get used to), made up primarily of Earth immigrants from the Middle East, and Northern and Central parts of Africa. They'd been drawn to the heat as much as Ben had been. With all of his possessions in the duffel over his shoulder, he stepped down out of the shuttle and took his first breath of non-recycled air in six months. "Sure is hot," he said, tilting his head up to the sun. "Feels good. Where's our house again?"

Ben sighed and leaned more heavily into Ender, closing his eyes. "Kuso, that feels good. Any other rooms to look at?"

"One more, I think," Ender said, "But that's a guest room."

He rubbed at Ben's shoulders.

"This one's ours, then," Ben declared, sliding his hands behind him to grab Ender's ass. "Close the door."

"Fine," Ender said with another chuckle, reaching back to shut the door. "You're awake..."

"It's like I slept for a year or something," Ben replied, turning around and kissing him.

A lot.

Ender made a pleased little noise in the back of his throat, dropping his head back against the wall.

He slid his hands down to Ben's behind.

Ben rewarded him for that by rocking against him and nipping at his neck. "Think this should become a new house ritual," he murmured.

"Not sure how Val will feel about that," Ender murmured, though he wasn't exactly objecting right now.

He sighed, giving Ben a little squeeze.

"I wasn't going to ask for her input," Ben replied with a little chuckle, reaching down to undo Ender's pants.

"How long have you been planning this?" Ender wondered, sliding his hand to the front to follow suit with Ben's pants.

"I don't plan," Ben murmured, giving Ender a wicked smile and dropping to his knees. "Now keep it down so we don't scare Val."

Then he couldn't really talk any more. Ahem.

Ender pressed a hand to his mouth to muffle anything else.

Ben smiled up at him and did a thing with his tongue.

Ender promptly shut his eyes, making a muffled noise into his hand.

His other one snuck down to find its way into Ben's hair.

Ben hummed happily, resting his free hand on Ender's stomach.

Ender's breathing picked up speed, but he managed to keep any further noise in.

His thighs trembled a little with the effort of keeping still. His body wanted some outlet.

Ben was discovering that he really, really liked Ender like this. He slid his mouth off, but only so he could make that soft slurping sound that Ender liked.

Ender squeezed his eyes shut harder. That sound would never stop being obscene to his ears.

"More?" Ben murmured, kissing Ender's inner thigh.

Ender pulled his hand off his mouth and breathed in sharply. "Bed," he said. "Now."

Ben shivered slightly at Ender's tone of voice--he loved when Ender got like this--before making his way to the bed on slightly unsteady legs.

He sat on the edge and got rid of his clothing before glancing up at Ender.

Ender had already kicked off his shoes and pants in that short period of time. He tugged his shirt off and cast it aside. Advanced on Ben, put both of his hands on the bed and leaned in to kiss him hard as he pushed him back into the mattress with his body.

Ben let out a soft moan and wrapped his arms around Ender's neck, kissing him back just as hard.

The bed, he learned as he fell back onto it, was a little hard.

They could live with that.

"Shh," Ender murmured between kisses, though he could hear the shower running - Val probably wouldn't hear much. For now.

"Trying," Ben replied, scratching his fingers along Ender's spine. "Stop being so kissable."
