Prom had been fun and the evening after prom had been even more fun (Ben liked Ender in uniform, so sue him), but being fairly bright Fandom students who had been at the school for four years, both guys had remembered to put some clothing back on before falling asleep just in case.

Ben was curled into Ender now, sleeping in for once (so...past sun-up) and enjoying a weekend where he had nothing planned.

Val gave that a theatrical shiver. "I have heard of these car movies," she said. "And I fled in terror."

"I can grab something by Shakespeare," Ender noted. "Though I do have a few other films lying around, too."

Generally literature-based and philosophical ones.

His eyes flickered shut briefly and he gave Ben a squeeze at the by-now familiar burst of not-his-emotions. There was that, at least.

Ben squeezed back and then smiled at Val. "Please tell me the Shakespeare obsession abates a bit."

"He hasn't named any planets, planetoids or space rocks after him since I've known him," Val said solemnly.

"What about children or pets?" Ben teased.

"None," Val said, grinning. "But then 'William' wouldn't fit in our naming scheme."

"Three letters and single syllables?" Ben asked. "We could've gone with Wil."

"Everyone would spell it with two l's anyway."

"Ender doesn't fit the pattern," Ben said with another smile. "Do we call him Der?"

"Andrew, actually, most of the time," Val muttered. "Which is even worse."

"Hey." That was Ender.

Ben chuckled. "I only call him that when I'm mad at him right now," he said. "Guess that'll have to change."
