Ender's Swingin' Bachelor Pad, Naboo [Wednesday, Fandom time]

The nice thing about how time worked on Naboo was that even a few days away from Fandom meant that Ender and Ben had gotten almost a week to themselves to unwind.

Now the fridge was restocked, the rooms were prepared and the droid Ben had made was bustling industriously around getting rid of dust bunnies.

Ben and Ender were ready for their Fandom (and other universes!) invasion.

Oh, you mean those three figures that were passing by right now? Wave again!

"Congratulations, Ben! You're a big enough boy to get your own doll!"

It was an action figure! Mother Night, Karla.

"And look! You came with an accessory!" A large rancor toy appeared and Karla tucked Ben into its mouth. "OM NOM NOM! SKYWALKER!" she growled.

"Kaaaaaaaaaaarla," Ben whined.

"Oh? Did you want to play?" Karla asked. "You can be the rancor."

"I'm not being the rancor."

"Why don't you want to be the rancor?"

THIS IS WHAT YOU MISSED BY BEING AN ONLY CHILD, BEN.

"Nobody wants to be the rancor," Ben declared.

"Well, this is my Ben, so you have to be the rancor."

Ben looked sulky. "Fine. Then your Ben is totally getting eaten."

"No, sir! Because my Ben has the Force and can just pick up the stupid old rancor and throw it across the cave!"

"My rancor is immune to the Force and the laws of physics!"

Yeah, no, Ben.

Ohoo! Don't count Karla out yet, Ben!

Because that would be a figurine of Kyle-freakin'-Katarn flying over to intercede. "That's fine! Because then Julian shows up to beat it up with Craft!"

And save his true love's life!

"What's Julian doing in this?"

He tilted his head. "That's Master Katarn!"

"Saving you?" Karla answered innocently. "And no it's not. Right now we're pretending it's Julian and he looooooooves you."

"Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Fake me is not making out with Kyle Katarn!" Ben replied.

That was not actually true, Ben. Had you missed how Karla had both dolls' faces smushed together and then was wiggling them back and forth while making kissy noises? Because that's what she was doing. Right now.

"And this is what happens when I don't get to go on adventures just because I am female!"

"Fine, fine, next time!" Ben promised hastily.

Karla huffily flung herself onto the couch and waved them off. "You remember that," she told him. "And until then, you get to spend tonight thinking of all the things I'm going to do with your doll and...whoever this guy is."

Beat.

"He needs to lose the beard."

Ben looked scandalized. "Never!"

"Mother Night--is this why the future-you tried to grow a muskrat? Honestly, Ben!"

Karla glanced around. "Does Ender have any white-out I can maybe use...?"

"Kyle Katarn's beard can probably defeat Sith all on its own!" Ben proclaimed.

Someone was a bit of a fanboy.

Karla's only response was more kissy noises directed at the to action figures, still smushed together.

"I'm leaving now," Ben decided. "Byeeeeeeeeeeee."

"Bye, Ben!" Karla shrilled, in a high-pitched voice. "Love yooooou! Return to me soooooon!" The Kyle Katarn doll waved. With its entire body.
