Ender's Swingin' Bachelor Pad, Naboo [Wednesday, Fandom time]
The nice thing about how time worked on Naboo was that even a few days away from Fandom meant that Ender and Ben had gotten almost a week to themselves to unwind.
Now the fridge was restocked, the rooms were prepared and the droid Ben had made was bustling industriously around getting rid of dust bunnies.
Ben and Ender were ready for their Fandom (and other universes!) invasion.

She eyed him and added, "If I'd thought you'd be at all interested, I'd've invited you along, but I didn't want you to feel like you had to sit through the, ahh, performance just to keep an eye on me."
Re: Day Two: Daytime [Lake Country]
The cultural dancing was not really a relevant reason.
"Especially in Theed, where I'm told they have drinks that can quite literally blow up in your face."
Re: Day Two: Daytime [Lake Country]
Mostly because she hadn't bothered to memorize how to get to The Landing Strip the afternoon before and hadn't wanted to wind through the streets of Theed alone after dark.
"The nice males at the club made sure to call a reputable service for me and everything. Umm, I think the Happenin' Hapan made sure I got into it okay and that the driver knew where to bring me. Or maybe it was Argon the Anatomical Android? No, wait. It was Long Dong Phong!"

They had all been very suggestive and inappropriate dances, of course, considering the establishment. But no one other than Karla would ever have to know that. Well, Karla, the dancers, and all the other patrons.
...And anyone who had access to the cameras. Not that Karla knew that.
"It was an excellent evening, overall." Helped along by the way Karla had been slinging credit vouchers around and buying drinks for everyone. "I'm pretty sure I was invited back tonight. They promised me the best table and free drinks for the evening!"

"You would manage to become the focal point of the local nightlife," he said. "But let's avoid the hangover this time. It doesn't really suit you."

Or, rather, Little Miss I'd-Like-My-Head-To-Stop-Beating-Like-The-Club's-Dancefloor.
"I probably should have realized that my body wouldn't recognize alien alcohol. The alien bit should have been a clue, I think."
'Should have.'

That was...like looking. Wasn't it?

It was good! He drank quite a lot of it!

See? Blue milk!

Or watch the males.
Probably.
Re: Day Two: Daytime [Lake Country]
"And we might decide not to invite Ben and Warren along with us," Karla declared. "Because I am the maturest and so there."

Maturely.
