A mattress had been bought for guests, the house had been scrubbed from top to bottom and then bottom to top, and Ben, even though he knew that Luke wouldn't care in the slightest, had stressed out about what they'd have for dinner for the last three days.

Now he was a half-hour early for the time his father had sent him for the portal, bouncing nervously on the balls of his feet.

He was excited and terrified in almost equal measure.

Sounds like a fun vacation, huh?

Ender groaned softly, his hands giving Ben a firm squeeze in response.

Ben rocked into Ender in reply, sucking lightly on the same spot--he didn't want to leave a mark today.

Ender sighed, sliding his legs over Ben's until they wound up a bit of a tangle. "You do know what you're doing," he murmured.

Statement of a fact with a little reassurance wrapped up in the center of it.

Ben kissed his neck, then along his jawline. "I have my moments," he agreed softly. "I want you to feel loved."

"I do," Ender said, sliding one of his hands back up so he could run it through Ben's hair. "Do you?"

Ben smiled down at him. "Very much," he whispered, leaning in to kiss him. "Thank you."

"Good," Ender murmured, shutting his eyes. "Because I love you very much."

Ben kissed his temple, then each closed eye. "I know you do."

Ender leaned up and kissed him on the mouth.

He gave Ben a nudge, flipping them so he could climb on top.

Ben smiled up at him before scraping his fingers down Ender's spine. "Tired of being on bottom?"

Ender laughed softly. "Just wanted to kiss you properly," he said, dipping down to do just that. "And maybe do something else with my mouth properly..."

Ben shivered as he rested his hands on Ender's hips. "Whistle, maybe?" he asked a little breathlessly.

Ender kissed him again. "Well, if that's what you want..." he mused.

"Not really, but if that's how you wanted to spend the rest of the evening..." Ben babbled.

"I think I'd rather use it kissing little you," Ender said, sounding amused.

He kissed Ben's neck. "Maybe making you feel better..."

"Mmmm, I feel pretty good right now," he murmured, sliding his fingers along the back of Ender's neck.

"Could be better," Ender returned, slipping down to do something nice to Ben's nipple.

Ben gasped, forgetting for a second to be very, very quiet. "I love you."

"Shhh," Ender said, smiling up at him. Then ran his tongue over Ben's skin a second time.

Ben shivered, but bit his lower lip so he was quiet this time. "Brat," he whispered fondly.

Ender moved down a little more. After all, Ben's abs were in terrible need of attention.

A lot of it.

Ben sighed softly and then took a not-so-soft grip on Ender's hair.

Ender's head tilted a little to acknowledge Ben's grip, his eyes meeting Ben's and his mouth quirking up. "Yes?"

Ben smiled back. "Hi."

Ender moved his mouth south by just half an inch. "Hi."
