Ben still was exactly sure where he and Ender had ended up but the food was good, the view from their room was fantastic, and nothing had tried to eat them.

He was calling it a win.

He leaned against the balcony railings and ate a piece of fruit (weirdly blue, but other than that very tasty) and watched some kind of birds float serenely on a lake in the near distance.

"Not a bad way to spend time, huh?" he asked.

Ben sighed himself, then blew a breath of air across where he'd just licked.

"I think you just like bossing me around."

There was no complaint in that at all.

"I'm not stopping you now," Ender said. He couldn't quite repress an involuntary shiver.

Ben smiled at Ender's reaction, then repeated the movements on the other side so nothing was feeling neglected.

"It's not many people who can make Ender Wiggin do whatever they'd like," he teased.

Ender's fingers gripped the back of his head a little harder - not too hard, but still. "Who says you can?" he asked, arching one eyebrow.

He let one corner of his mouth tug up a little and made sure his emotions were calm, just to ensure Ben wouldn't misinterpret that as actual offense.

"Sounds like a challenge to me," Ben replied, licking along one of Ender's scars.

Ender snorted softly. "Brat," he muttered, though he suddenly sounded out of breath.

Ben blew a breath of air across the scar and slowly began working his way down Ender's chest.

"Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't let you talk," Ben mused.

"Good luck with that," Ender said. For the first time, he was starting to wonder where Ben was going, and he peered down at Ben's mop of red hair.

And the way it was kind of drifting over his chest.

Hush.

Ben wasn't entirely sure where he was going either (as tempting as the waistline of Ender's pants were proving to be, he was still a little nervous about getting there so quickly), but he was enjoying what he'd been doing so far.

"Shhh," he said, nipping down on the nearest bit of skin.

"I should keep talking to spite you, shouldn't I," Ender mused, arching his back.

"Maybe," Ben said, nipping a bit harder and sliding his hand along Ender's thigh.

Ender hummed low in his throat, giving Ben's hair the slightest of tugs before he let his hand slide down to the back of his neck. "Or maybe not..."

Ben decided that he needed to do more things to get his hair yanked like that, and slid his hand along Ender's inner thing, just to see what the reaction would be.

He had an internal bet going over whether Ender would let him keep going or demand equal time in driving Ben a little nuts now.

Ender's body helpfully pointed out to him that Ben's hand was going somewhere promising right now. His legs slid apart a little in response.

He ignored that, choosing to let his fingers creep further down, reaching out for Ben's scars again.

Ben sighed a bit at that touch before devoting himself to trying to get rid of the pesky pants that Ender insisted upon wearing.

Bah, social conventions.

Clearly it was time for a pantsless revolution.

Ender glanced back down at him again. "Get rid of yours, too," he instructed.

Bossy, bossy.

Ben grinned at him. "Make me."

Ender's eyebrows went up.

Then he reached down and gave one of Ben's shoulders a shove, bringing a leg up just a little to try and force him onto his back.

Ben flipped over and grinned up at Ender. "Bossy," he said fondly, not feeling the least bit threatened by this form of play.

He trusted Ender completely.

Ender ignored him, leaning down to nip at Ben's neck. He didn't want to hurt him, but he was trying to make... some kind of point, so there was a little force involved.

One of his hands slipped between Ben's legs, cupping him through his pants.

Ben arched into Ender's hand and ran his fingers down his back, not quite hard enough to leave marks.

Ender pressed in with his palm, and nipped down again.

He didn't usually chase after every challenge thrown at him - that was Ben's deal - but he was planning to make work of this one, thank you.

Ben slid his hands down to rest on Ender's rear and arched into his hand again before biting down, not entirely gently, on Ender's shoulder.

Ender hissed quietly as pain spiked up very briefly from his shoulder. He didn't move his hand again, keeping where it was while applying just a little pressure.

He was a little busy with Ben's neck here-- that might leave a mark.

Ben whimpered something that might have been Ender's name and tangled their legs together.

He wasn't going to overanalyze (or analyze at all) why this felt so good to him, he was just going to enjoy it.
