Room 204 [afternoon]

Ben didn't have classes on Wednesdays, so he normally went out on a nice long run before climbing the Rocky Bits (yes, for fun, and yes, without safety equipment), so it wasn't entirely unheard of for him to come home with a few scratches on his arms or legs.

Today, though, he was limping heavily and cursing under his breath about big sharp teeth and stupid kriffing bunnies.

He was a Skywalker. Of course something had tried to eat him.

Ender gave him a tiny smile back. "The feeling is mutual," he said, "which is why I'm rubbing your feet instead of making fun of you getting bitten by a bunny."

"I give you permission to do both at the same time," Ben said, closing his eyes again. "Bunnies aren't normally known for their aggressive tendencies."

"Maybe, but I can't milk too much enjoyment out of someone else getting hurt," Ender said truthfully. "Even if it was silly and terribly you, Skywalker."

Well that reply was just going to have to put a slight pause in the foot massage because Ben was moving so he could give Ender a rather thorough kissing.

Sigh, Skywalker. It's like you had issues with not reciprocating or something.

Ender tilted his head to meet said thorough kissing head-on (so to speak), his now-free hands sliding to Ben's hips.

Ben? Issues?

Well, yes.

He sucked a little at Ender's lower lip before offering, "At least it didn't need a bacta tank? And it probably won't scar."

"Now that's a relief." Ender shot him a wry look, then reached up to tuck Ben's hair behind his ear. "Just do me a favor and don't get bit by anything too big on Shakespeare."

Ben rested his forehead against Ender's and smiled. "Nothing but you."

Dork.

Ender laughed softly. "I promise I won't bite anything too vital."

Ben leaned in to suck at the hollow of Ender's throat. "Yeah, me too."

"Mmm," Ender replied, sneaking his hands under Ben's shirt.

Not so much because he wanted to get rid of it, but because sometimes being close was its own reward.

And Ender's hands were way better than itchy, stupid polyblend.

"Hi," he murmured a little inanely.

"I should really get back to work soon," Ender told him wryly.

"Maybe," Ben said, nipping at Ender's earlobe. "What are you working on?"

"Answering the latest batch of mails from the colonists on Eros," Ender said, sounding a little distracted now.

"Any pressing emergencies?" Ben asked, shifting to Ender's other ear.

"No major ones," Ender said. He sighed. "You're terrible."

"You seem really upset about that," Ben noted, wrapping Ender's tie through his fingers.

"One of these days, I'm going to manage to get through a day's worth of work without you jumping me," Ender said.

"Then you'll worry that I'm sick," Ben said, but he pulled back a little bit.

Ender leaned over and pecked him on the lips. "Just two more emails. They're a little on the urgent side," he said. "After that, you can deal with my tie."

Ben smiled. "I'm not upset," he said, reaching out to ruffle Ender's hair. "I should shower anyway. Get the dreaded bunny drool off my leg."

Ender smiled a little. "If you promise to come back in a towel, I really will try and make it quick," he said.

"Not why I was showering," Ben said, laughing, "but not exactly a disincentive either. Write your people, kreetle. I'll be back in a while."

"Avoid anything cute and furry on the way," Ender said, getting up off the bed. "I'm not fixing you a second time."
