Ben leaned against the balcony of their suite in the Fountain Palace and sighed softly. Hapes really was ridiculously beautiful, and while he preferred Naboo because of the lack of constant political posturing, he did enjoy getting to show Ender and Val off to Tenel Ka, who flatly refused to believe he was old enough to have a baby of his own when she could still remember changing his bottom.

The laughter from her guards at that had almost made the embarrassment worth it. "I think it's time for dinner soon," Ben called into Ender. "It's hard to gage here by the sun because it never gets fully dark."

"That day after you took Karla to a strip club," Ender said, sighing again, pressing his body up against Ben's.

Ben slicked up one of his hands and slid it under the water to help Ender out a little.

This time, it was less of a sigh and more of a whimper. "-mmm," he said. "Our time on board the Good Ship Lollipop..."

"That was pretending to be lazy," Ben said, gripping a little more tightly. "I was acting."

"Kuso," Ender gasped, briefly forgetting what else he was going to bring up as he pressed into Ben's hand.

Ben kissed him full on the mouth. "Yes, love?"

"--That time Val sat on you and fell asleep and you decided not to move," Ender managed, finally.

"Good choice," Ben said, slowing his hand way, way down.

Ender bit back a frustrated whimper, but only barely. His fingers dug into Ben's shoulders. "Brat."

"You love it," Ben said. "We don't normally get a chance for excruciatingly slow."

"Don't tempt fate," Ender chastised. "Or Val." He kissed Ben firmly to prevent that from happening.

Also other reasons.

"She wouldn't dare," Ben said when he finally came up for breath.

Ender laughed softly. "Uh huh."

Ben slid a slicked up finger around places and smiled softly. "Maybe we should move just a little faster, then..."

"Maybe," Ender said, his voice teasing - and a little warm with the sudden promise of Ben's touch. "We have plenty of time to go slow a second time, if she's good..."

"Mmmm," Ben said, kissing along Ender's throat and moving his finger. "Maybe live crazy and try a third..."

Ender whimpered, squirming against him. His hands slid lower until he could touch Ben again, wrapping his fingers around him. "Sounds fantastic," he sighed.

"But I'm still going to make this last," he whispered, sliding in nice and slow. He wasn't sure how things would work in the water.

"Okay," Ender whispered, and his eyes had gone shut as he let out a gasp. The water made him relax, and sitting on Ben definitely made some things... easier.

But it did mean his head wound up on Ben's shoulder, hands skidding down to his hips.

"I've got you," Ben whispered, crooking his finger.

"Always do," Ender sighed, breathing sharply against his shoulder.

It took him a moment to remember he'd stopped touching Ben. Ender touched him again under the water.

Ben shivered happily, even in the warmth of the tub. "We have plenty of time for me," he said, sucking on Ender's lower lip.

"Since when has that ever stopped you?" Ender murmured, chasing Ben's mouth with his own.

"Shhh," Ben said. "I like getting to take care of you."

"Of that, I'm aware," Ender murmured, kissing his neck.

He slid his hand off of Ben obligingly.
