Ben didn't have classes on Wednesdays, so he normally went out on a nice long run before climbing the Rocky Bits (yes, for fun, and yes, without safety equipment), so it wasn't entirely unheard of for him to come home with a few scratches on his arms or legs.

Today, though, he was limping heavily and cursing under his breath about big sharp teeth and stupid kriffing bunnies.

He was a Skywalker. Of course something had tried to eat him.

"They are terribly dainty ankles."

"I will kick you with my dainty ankles," Ben threatened.

Ender picked up one of his dainty ankles and lifted it a few inches. "This one?"

Ben poked Ender in the stomach with the other foot. "No."

Ender responded by tickling right under Ben's knee. "Too bad."

Ben squeaked, then blushed because of the squeaking. "Hey!"

"Sorry, what was that?"

"It was my ferocious rabbit attack cry," Ben said.

"I'm terrified," Ender said, making use of the distraction to capture Ben's other ankle.

Ben let him grab the other ankle, mostly to see what he'd do with them. "And you're not even a rabbit," he observed.

As it turned out, he was going to... pull them over into his lap, pressing his thumbs into the sole of one of Ben's feet. "Years of Jedi training at work," he said. "Wonder if it works on Sith."

"Mmmmmm," Ben groaned softly, closing his eyes. "There's a different attack cry for the Sith. It's less squeaky."

"More of a dull roar?" Ender asked, sounding amused.

"You calling us dull?" Ben replied, grinning.

"I'm just asking for a description of this war cry," Ender said, moving his hands along Ben's foot.

"That's nice," Ben said with a little sigh.

"...That's not the war cry, by the way."

"Good, because it would be stupidly ineffective," Ender said, moving to the other foot. "Well, on anyone but me."

"And if you were a Sith, I'd have a whole host of other problems," Ben replied.

"Mm," Ender said. "I'd be more inclined to chop off your dainty ankles than what I'm doing right now."

"Dunno," Ben said, closing his eyes. "Get the impression Vestara would keep her options open on the massage."

"Yes, the Sith girl has a crush on you," Ender sighed. "Brag it up."

Ben cracked one eye open. "It's not exactly I'm excited about," he said. "I'm not sure if it's even real or if she was just trying to knock me off balance."

"I think she's genuinely attracted to you," Ender said after a short pause. He focused on rubbing the sole of Ben's feet instead. "But I also think she's trained to use that kind of thing."

"Well she won't get a chance to," Ben said, giving Ender a tiny smile. "I'm not interested in anyone but you."

Not that he thought Ender was worried on that front but a little reassurance never hurt anything.

Ender gave him a tiny smile back. "The feeling is mutual," he said, "which is why I'm rubbing your feet instead of making fun of you getting bitten by a bunny."
