Sorelledolce [let's call it Sunday]

Ben was starting to feel at home on Sorelledolce: he had a routine for getting produce for the week at the same store, where the older man behind the counter insisted on spoiling the baby with strawberries, plums or apples, depending on what he had available when they arrived. He'd then get bread at another shop (and a roll for Val to gnaw on), and then a coffee for himself (and an espresso cup full of whipped cream that Val smeared all over her face, to her great delight) before heading back to the ship.

He kept up his normal one-sided conversation with his daughter as they walked. "That's a puppy, Val," Ben explained. "And that's a chicken! And that's a lady who's glaring at us for no real reason but we're going to walk faster anyway..."

Just another Sunday morning. Ben kind of loved his quiet little life.

Ben pulled off again and kissed his way up Ender's chest. "Don't want you to explode..."

Ender sighed, sliding his arms around Ben as soon as he came up far enough. "Didn't think I'd make it this far," he mumbled.

"You've been amazing," Ben said, kissing him hard.

Ender shivered against him, but this time he gave as good as he got. "You like this."

"I do," Ben admitted softly. "Riding this edge with you..."

"I don't know if I'm done or not," Ender admitted quietly.

"I can stop," Ben said immediately. Because he was Ben.

Ender chuckled softly, leaning up to kiss him again. "I said I don't know," he said, "I didn't say 'stop'."

Ben kissed him back. "This is about both of us," he murmured, sucking on Ender's lower lip. "See where it goes?"

"Yeah," Ender sighed, sliding his fingers up into Ben's hair. "Sounds good."

"Only the good kind of hurt," Ben said with a happy little noise.

Ender smiled.

Then he nipped down on Ben's bottom lip, not entirely gently.

Ben whined, rocking his hips against Ender because yes, please, that.

Ender whimpered, bucking his hips up against Ben in return - then letting out a hiss.

Ben nipped at his neck. "Okay?" he checked.

He had been pretty thorough down there. Twice.

"Okay, if close to too much," Ender murmured. He let out a breath. "Can still feel you down there."

"Want my fingers instead?" Ben whispered. "Mouth?"

Ender kissed him gently. "No."

Ben's mouth quirked up in a little smile. "Yeah?"

Ender pulled his hand back, but only so he could run his thumb over Ben's smile for a moment. "Yeah."

"I love you," Ben said, running his tongue over the pad of Ender's thumb, then sucking it into his mouth.

Ender watched his finger disappear between those lips, and then his eyes slid closed of their own accord.

"Love you," he whispered, very soft.

Ben slowly ran his tongue around Ender's thumb, then rocked his hips into Ender again.

Ender let out a loud gasp, his free hand digging into Ben's... that felt like Ben's hip. Kuso.

Ben bit down gently on Ender's thumb, then released it, watching Ender's face carefully for any sign that this wasn't fun any more.
