Room 424 [late evening]

His headache had finally cleared up, so Ben was trying to catch up on his robotics work this evening.

Well, that was his story, anyway. It wasn't like he slept more than a few hours a night. The door was closed, though, so the sound didn't carry down the hall.

[OOC: For the girl.]

Ben reached out to tickle her. "Bet you wouldn't."

"Would too," she persisted, squirming . . . not exactly away from him.

Ben was fine with that. "I'll get you a mustache and we'll find out," he said.

"You get one too. It'll be a competition." Tahiri was going to take advantage of this new angle to tickle him right back.

[momslilassassin]

Ben burst out giggling laughing. "Deal," he said, wriggling...well, not exactly out of the way, no.

[weetuskenraider]

"I'll win," Tahiri said with an emphatic tickle under the ribs.

[momslilassassin]

"Nuh uh," Ben said, still giggling.

[weetuskenraider]

This might be turning into something that was less tickling and more of a semi-sneaky attempt to hug him, now. "We'll see what the judges have to say about that."

"We're being judged now?" Ben said, content to give her a squeeze back. "I guess we should be more entertaining."

"I didn't realize that was in my job description." Tahiri leaned against him, not even trying to tickle any more. "You mean we missed our calling as holodrama stars?"

"I think we went straight to the documentaries," he said with a wry smile.

Oh, let's not bring Dab Hantaq into this. "Well, those aren't as much fun." Tahiri leaned up to see if she could bump his chin lightly with her nose. "Guess we should stick to what we do."

"Rescuing people," Ben said, nodding.

[weetuskenraider]

"I stayed conscious this time," Tahiri felt the need to point out.

[momslilassassin]

"I'm really glad to hear that," Ben said softly. "Visiting people in the clinic isn't my favorite thing."

[weetuskenraider]

"Especially since I'm not so great about going, huh?" Which was a little hypocritical of her, all things considered.

[momslilassassin]

Ben let out a little laugh. "Something like that," he replied. "I'm a big fan of people not getting hurt when they run off and do heroic and sometimes stupid things."

"Spoken like someone who's resigned to the fact that at least certain people he knows are going to do that no matter what," Tahiri observed.

[momslilassassin]

"Skywalker," Ben said with a grin. "Stupid is what we do."

[weetuskenraider]

"You can't hog all the stupid," said the girl who'd done plenty of it herself. But then, look who she spent a lot of time with . . .

"Are you sure?" Ben said. "We seem to have cornered the market, though we also share with the Solos."

[weetuskenraider]

"You have to share," Tahiri insisted. "Especially with those of us who are crazy enough to like spending time with you."

[momslilassassin]

Ben laughed. "We're not trying to corner the market on crazy. I think that's as unlimited as the Force."

[weetuskenraider]

"Good thing, because there's still plenty to go around after what I'm hogging," Tahiri said half under her breath.

Ben, of course, heard her. "Hey," he said softly. "Not your fault."
