Room 204 [afternoon]

Ben didn't have classes on Wednesdays, so he normally went out on a nice long run before climbing the Rocky Bits (yes, for fun, and yes, without safety equipment), so it wasn't entirely unheard of for him to come home with a few scratches on his arms or legs.

Today, though, he was limping heavily and cursing under his breath about big sharp teeth and stupid kriffing bunnies.

He was a Skywalker. Of course something had tried to eat him.

"Unless you want to claim it's a flashy avant-garde light show, yes," Ender said, shooting him a wry look. "And remember to put your pants back on."

"You're the one who was so eager to get me out of them," Ben teased.

"The gaping bunny bite wound was a real turn on," Ender deadpanned.

"I knew it," Ben said with a smirk.

Ender responded by poking him in the knee. "Pants," he said.

"When the sentient teddy bears finally attack, I will not be sympathetic," Ben warned with a laugh as he pulled his pants back on. "Blast but these pants are hideous."

"While your robes are usually the height of fashion," Ender said, amused.

"At least they breathe," Ben complained. "If I wore these on a hot planet, I'd melt to death."

"But since this isn't a hot planet, I think you'll live," Ender said, pulling up his socks again. "Though I am pretty sure they designed these to discourage romance as much as possible."

"Probably," Ben agreed, reaching out to grab Ender by the tie and pull him in for a kiss.

Ender made a small noise of protest - there was a chance of terribly unromantic facial impact here - which was quickly muffled.

He sighed into it, hands lowering slowly to the mattress.

"Hi," Ben murmured softly before nipping lightly at Ender's lower lip.

Ender's hand moved back up and landed on the back of Ben's neck. "Trying to make a point?" he returned.

"You're still hot when wrapped in polyester," Ben replied.

Ender snorted softly. "I'm flattered," he said, running his thumb over the hair at the nape of Ben's neck. "Since that's a tall order."

Ben tugged on the tie again. "Not sure about the leashes, though."

"Considering you haven't managed to keep yours on for more than five minutes at a time," Ender said, reaching out to undo Ben's before he started aiming for the naughty schoolboy look again.

"Exactly," Ben said with a smile, happy to see the thing disappear. "I don't like things around my neck."

Ender snorted softly. "You might want to practice patience with it, if this keeps up," he said, holding up the tie. "Or you could seclude yourself near Selkie Cove, tie it around your eyes, and pretend you're a blind Jedi hermit who likes to float rocks."

"Depends if you'd be visiting said blind hermit," Ben replied.

"I could be persuaded to stop by for a swim every now and again," Ender said, sitting back on the bed.

"Tempting," Ben said, grinning. "But I'm not sure there's a lot out there that's secluded. Those bunnies are getting everywhere."

"You're going to come back with bite marks every time you step out of that door," Ender concluded.

"Now I know to watch my ankles," Ben said. "I'll be more careful."

"They are terribly dainty ankles."
