May. 5th, 2026 03:10 pm...How are you at this rest stop? How did you know I'd be at this rest stop? How did you get all the radio equipment to this rest stop?
*chittering*
Yeah, no matter how many time you insist 'professionalism,' nobody's going to believe you. Anyway, what up, island? It's me, ya girl, Arden Finch, coming at you live from a random rest stop in Louisiana, where the squirrels have successfully tracked me down. It's creepy and I'm not comfortable with this, so I'm just gonna fly through these notes and send them away again, before we're done getting gas and snacks.
No School or Dorms, but a bit of news from Town. There was some kind of Space Battles theme going on, it seems; Magpie Emporium was full of fans and Little Bot had a new weapon, and Steph thought Vi should have one, too. Caleb didn't have an opinion about CGI versus recasting for Space Battles, which, fair, and Ray was giving the workers of Pizza Planet a pep talk about handling things while he and Gray are away for the summer. Space Battles was also being played in the waiting room of the Clinic, but Professor James was busy keeping an eye on the crab.
There was a big get together at Devil's Nest last night, complete with a--you can't get me to say that's a music genre, I don't believe you. Ms. Solo-Fel dropped by for a visit and got caught up on vampire politics. Which probably involved a lot of violence, because vampire politics usually does. After getting a strong whiskey from Mr. Northman, Ms. Beniko and Ms. Solo-Fel talked about how home was always crazy, before chatting with Mr. Jack about his band's tour. Dean Skywalker was lured in by...that genre of music...and talked about one of his other grandchildren with Ms. Solo-Fel before insisting that Mr. Cade was lying and he was not covering drinks. Ms. Beniko somehow missed Dean Skywalker's correction, and Mr. Jack teamed up with Mr. Cade to argue with him about it. Even Cal was there, saying that...that music...had made him homesick, and Ms. Blake just wanted to know if this was going to be a weeklong thing or what.
Anyway, I'm out of notes and also out of time, so enjoy the rest of your day and normally I'd play something thematic, but I'm not having that search term in my algorithm, so ask your closest Jedi about their...music from home, I guess.
Bye!
